Epiphyseal osteochondroma
- on histology
Aetiology
Spontaneous mutation
Presentation
Partial cartilaginous overgrowth of an epiphysis
- usually medial half
- Usually one joint
- Usually ankle (tarsus, carpus, knee, ankle)
Treatment
Partial excision of overgrowth
- do well but
- Recurrence common
- May need later osteotomies
